Account and Data Deletion

You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your LinguaLeap account. This action is irreversible. Please choose one of the two methods below to proceed.

Option 1: Delete From Inside the App

This is the fastest and recommended method if you have access to the application.

  1. Open the LinguaLeap app on your device and log in.
  2. Navigate to the Settings tab using the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap the "Delete Account" button.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the permanent deletion of your account.

Option 2: Web Form Request

If you no longer have access to the app, you can submit a deletion request using our secure web form. For your security, a confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide. You must reply to that email to finalize the deletion process.

Please ensure you provide the email address associated with your LinguaLeap account. Requests are processed manually after email confirmation and may take a few business days to complete.

Upon confirming your account deletion request, the following data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our live systems:

Data That May Be Retained

To maintain and improve our services, some data is retained in an aggregated and fully anonymized form. This data cannot be linked back to you personally after your account has been deleted. This includes:

Data Retention in Backups

While your data is deleted from our live production systems immediately, it may persist in secure, encrypted backup archives for up to 90 days before being permanently erased.
